Margot Casstevens
explores the world through art. Finding meaning and intimacy in expression,
art is part of an ongoing "conversation" with a "C". Receiving her
B.F.A. from Washington University in St. Louis in drawing/ printmaking she
wandered south where she took her graduate degree in sculpture at the
University of South Florida. Meeting Kurt Madison in New York was the
beginning of a fabulous relationship that has traveled from Chicago to
Scotland to the Pacific Northwest; taking their studio and child (their
collaborative piece) with them. Margot continues to make sculpture at every
opportunity and considers her jewelry work to be an extension of that
thought process. |
